Can I visit your shop to see more examples of your Wedding Cakes?
At this time, Sweet Everythings creates our Cakes in a busy Council-inspected production kitchen, and doesn’t have a shop front for visitors. You can visit our website to see photos of our Dessert Tables, Cakes and other goodies that we’ve made, or you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see photos of our Cakes as we create them!

How far in advance should I book my wedding order with Sweet Everythings?
We are a small boutique business and we focus on one wedding at a time to make sure that you get our full attention. Since 2020, we have had enquiries for up to 3 years in advance, while some wedding couples have enquired only a few months before their wedding. It’s always good to get in touch as soon as you can, and we're happy to let you know your date is available straight away!

When is Sweet Everythings open?
Monday – Thursday 10 am to 5 pm
Saturday 10am to 1 pm.
We are always closed on Sunday. However, we always try to answer emails and business messages as soon as we can to answer your cake queries.

Where are you located?
Sweet Everythings is based in Glasgow, Scotland. We do not have a retail shop and all of our Cakes are created in our Council inspected and approved home production kitchen. We cannot accommodate walk-ins. For special occasion cakes and custom desserts, you can arrange to collect your order by pre-arranged appointment or select delivery for Glasgow postcodes. (Wedding Cakes and Dessert Table catering are delivery only).

We deliver to postcodes around Glasgow for a small charge. Read about our delivery here.

Can I collect my cake/dessert instead?
Yes, you can collect for free from our home production kitchen in the west end of Glasgow. We only offer this in the evenings between 5pm and 6pm as we are extremely busy during the working day. We cannot take responsibility for any issue that may arise after the cake has been picked up.

When can I order a pumpkin pie?
We make pumpkin pies in Glasgow each year for a very limited time around October/November for the Thanksgiving holiday. There's really no demand for them at any other time! We'll announce on social media when pumpkin pie orders are available to book so you don't miss out.

How do I book my Wedding or Party with you?
Once you have given us your wedding requirements for your Cake/Dessert Table, we'll send you a quote. You confirm that all the details are as you would like like them, and accept the quote. Your booking is confirmed when you make payment of 50% of the total order and sign our booking terms and conditions. The remaining balance is due at least 45 days before the event.

How do I go about tasting Sweet Everythings' wedding cakes?
As a small boutique baker I send all sample boxes out at once every few weeks after I've freshly baked the cakes. This helps me make the most of my time, rather than constantly baking samples and sending them out one by one! Each sample box contains 5 different cake flavours for you to enjoy. If you secure your wedding cake booking with a 50% deposit within 2 weeks of receiving your cake tasting box, the £20 will be credited to your booking.
How much will my Wedding Cake cost?
Wedding Cakes vary in price because no two Wedding Cakes are alike! Sweet Everything’s price is based on 3 factors:

The size of the Cake: how many guests are you planning to serve?

The flavour of the Cake: would you prefer a single flavour for the entire Cake or a different flavour for each tier?

The amount of decoration: do you love the idea of lots of intricate piping and sugar flowers or are you happier with simple swirls of icing?

The final cost is determined by the amount of details, time and materials necessary to achieve the perfect Wedding Cake for you. As a rough guide, our buttercream Cakes start at £2.95 per serving. Keep in mind that structured, stacked tiers are much more difficult than you think! The more complicated the design and the larger the Cake, the more time and extra care is needed to create, bake and then set up on your Big Day.

How is Wedding Cake/Dessert Table delivery and set-up organised?
Our Wedding Cakes are transported individually, then plated on site where any last-minute decorations and finishing touches are applied. All desserts for our Dessert Tables are carefully packed for delivery, and if any slight damage should happen on the way, we have extras on hand - just in case! - and retouch any desserts on site. Once the Wedding Cake and/or Dessert Table is set up, the entire set up is quality checked again to make sure everything is in place for your Big Day.
